Torterra |
Name: Bertha |
Age: 5 years, 3 months |
Height: 7' 03" |
Weight: 683 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "If I ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" |
|
Bio: Cam's first Pokémon when he came into the Sinnoh region several years ago. Bertha is easily the senior to any of the Pokémon on the team, and she's not afraid to throw her weight around when she needs to.
Bertha was born into captivity as a small Turtwig in the possession of Professor Rowan, a highly respected professor in Pokémon study. He knew of Cam from his previous achievements in other regions of the Pokémon world, and granted him Bertha as a gift when he arrived in the Sinnoh region, Rowan's home land.
Bertha is quite possibly the most loyal and faithful to Cam's team, since she has never been replaced since her arrival. She has seen many teammates come and go, and is quite knowledgable about those who have since come and gone, as well as a good amount of history of the team.
She may be harsh on her fellow Pokémon partners, but when push comes to shove, there's no one more dedicated to her teammates than Bertha. |

Pokémon Trainer |
Name: Cam, A.K.A. "Big Guy" |
Age: 18 years |
Height: 5' 9" |
Weight: 172 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "It's more fun to collect them than it is to battle them." |
|
Bio: Due to a decline in the interest of Pokémon study from young humans native to the Pokémon Islands, professional researchers turned to the rest of the world for any youth that would assist them in their studies. Cam was one of the many, many children that were offered the opportunity of a lifetime to leave home and explore a new world inhabited by these bizarre creatures known as Pokémon.
At the young age of eleven, Cam accepted the challenge and began his own journey - leaving his homeland and being entrusted with a "Pokémon Encylopedia" known as a Pokédex. His goal was to capture and record information on every kind of Pokémon that existed in the Islands.
His goal still remains incomplete after seven long, hard years of exploration, battles, and triumph and defeat. He has since proved himself to be a strong, masterful trainer by defeating Pokémon League champions from different regions around the Islands. However, he becomes separated from his star team when a Pokémon steals his Pokéball belt in his sleep. |

Flareon |
Name: Chip |
Age: 2 years, 9 months |
Height: 3' 01" |
Weight: 55 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "There's a non-violent solution to everything... right?" |
|
Bio: Chip is a rather cowardly Pokémon who doesn't care much for violence. Don't let that nature fool you; he's fairly strong and knows a range of powerful fire-based attacks. Chip's naive personality makes him easily manipulated and, sadly, very gullible.
Chip was born a wild Pokémon, but at a very, very young age he was captured by Bebe, the very person who runs the Pokémon Storage system in the Sinnoh region. Once she had heard Cam had earned a National Pokédex, she decided Cam may have a better use for him and left Chip, an Eevee at the time, in Cam's care.
Although Chip was taken from his family at such a young age, he doesn't seem too upset about it. He claims his life as a trained Pokémon has been a wonderful one full of surprises of all sorts - and he wouldn't ask for anything different. He accepts his teammates and cares for them as though they were his own brothers and sisters, and very rarely does he feel as though he's unwanted. He does, however, wish that one day he would come across his real family - if only for a minute to touch base - so he would be completely happy with his past.

Leafeon |
Name: Princess "Clover" Celia |
Age: 2 years, 5 months |
Height: 2' 9" |
Weight: 50 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "What's the point in having power if you can't abuse it?" |
|
Bio: As her name would imply, Celia, or "Clover" as most everyone calls her, is the princess of an undiscovered-by-humanity kingdom residing deep in the heart of Eterna Forest. She shows a distaste for humans, but at the same time, shows a great interest in their history. Her father, the king, has become very ill as of late, and the vigorous and unrelenting training to inherit the throne has caused her a great deal of stress.
The team encounters Clover when she tries to play a trick on Cam after he'd fallen asleep by taking his Pokémon belt. Unfortunately, before the trick can be played, she's held up by Honcho and attacked, losing the belt to him. She tracks him down, only to find that he has released the Pokémon into the forest. After explaining their situation, Clover tells everyone about her father, then attempts to persuade them to help her find an old treasure in the Old Chateau. |

Honchkrow |
Name: Honcho |
Age: 3 years, 2 months |
Height: 2' 11" |
Weight: 62 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "Those who dare oppose me lie broken in a pool of their own blood." |
|
Bio: Cold-hearted, evil, insane... words that most teammates can describe Honcho as. And for good reason; his short temper and sick, violent nature have made him loathed by anyone who comes in contact with him.
Honcho began life in the wild as a smaller-than-average Murkrow living among several siblings. Things were pretty normal for him until food sources became scarce within the area of the nest. Honcho, being the smallest and weakest, was brutally attacked by his own ravenous family. In an attempt to escape with his life, Honcho crawled to the edge of his nest and intentionally fell a life-threatening fall. Shortly after he crashed to the ground, Honcho passed out and woke up in a Pokémon Center in the possession of Cam, who witnessed the fall.
Once patched up, Honcho was raised and trained by Cam, and eventually evolved into the Honchkrow he is now. There has been a long-running story about two ex-teammates who had a terrible run-in with Honcho. What exactly happened... is widely unknown. It is known, however, that Honcho was banished from the team for quite some time for the incidents.
But when Cam needed someone who could trap an ever-elusive Pokémon, he had no choice but to bring Honcho back to the team. Cam then began to track this Pokémon but was stopped by an Ursaring, who knocked Honcho out quickly. Enraged by his defeat, Honcho proposed to his teammates that they rebel against humanity - seemingly out of the blue. When they refused, Honcho made death threats and fled into a nearby forest. |

Poochyena |
Name: Scrappy |
Age: 1 year, 9 months |
Height: 1' 08" |
Weight: 29 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "My bite is much better than my bark!" |
|
Bio: Full of life and energy, Scrappy often tries to pick fights with anyone who would be tempted by his rather empty threats. A recent acquisition of Cam's, the team doesn't readily accept Scrappy into their ranks, but they don't really have a choice but to put up with him when he's called into action to track Honcho.
Apparently an ex-citizen of the Eterna Kingdom, Scrappy reveals the identity of Clover to be the princess of said kingdom. In her presence, Scrappy is much more tame so as not to cross the proverbial line between the average citizen and princess.
Not much is known about Scrappy's life in the kingdom, other than he had just left home only a week or so before being captured by Cam. |

Jolteon |
Name: Surge |
Age: 3 years |
Height: 2' 07" |
Weight: 54 lbs. |
Personal Quote: "A team is only as good as the secrets it keeps." |
|
Bio: A hot-headed Jolteon with little tolerance for ignorance. Snappy and apprehensive are words that best describe him, which most would attribute to his troubled past. His brother was captured by humans, his sister got lost while exploring with him in Eterna Forest, and his parents were killed before his very eyes by hungry Staravia.
Surge keeps to himself about his past, acting aggressive to hide the pain. Even mentioning his family will set him off on an emotionally rage-fueled tangent. He shows great loyalty to Cam, but some of the bitterness of being captured remains inside him.
He has a great disliking of Honcho; so much that he becomes defensive and intensely agitated. No one is really sure why... |
